On 29 October, Eckhard Bruckschen, CEO of IOEMA-1 Holding B.V. will join our webinar: How is the Netherlands making subsea cable landings possible? as a panellist.
With over 35 years of experience in the offshore submarine cable industry, Eckhard brings extensive practical knowledge of cable installation and project management in the Netherlands. Through IOEMA, he brings valuable experience in developing and realising subsea cable projects. He has been involved in the installation and management of more than 40,000 km of submarine fibre-optic cables and 2,500 km of submarine power cables worldwide.
During the panel discussion, Eckhard will share his experience with subsea cable landings and discuss the opportunities and challenges of bringing new cable projects to the Netherlands. Topics include permitting procedures, suitable cable corridors and the infrastructure needed to facilitate future landings.
“The Netherlands offers a strong environment for new submarine cable landings, but early engagement and coordination are essential.”
Together with Wilfried Dudink of Digital Realty, who will bring an international perspective, the panel will explore what the Netherlands can learn from other European locations, including Marseille.
The webinar also features a presentation on developments in Dutch subsea cable infrastructure, highlighting opportunities for new landings and the role of the Dutch Subsea Cable Coalition. The programme brings together practical insights into processes, opportunities and international perspectives on subsea cable landings, with time for questions and discussion.
Join us for a discussion bringing together Dutch and international perspectives on the future of subsea cable landings.
